McPherson College’s women’s soccer team will need to pull off a major upset tonight to extend its season.

The Bulldogs drew No. 2 seed Kansas Wesleyan for the first round of the KCAC Postseason Tournament as the teams square off at 7 p.m. in Salina.

Mac finished in a three-way tie for fifth place in the KCAC with a 6-5 conference record, but unfortunately came up on the short end of the tiebreakers for a No. 7 seed.

The Bulldogs played the Coyotes in their KCAC opener, losing a 3-0 decision.

No matter what happens for the Bulldogs, it’s been a nice season as they are 10-6 overall. They were 9-8-1 last season, 5-4-1 in the KCAC.
