Central Christian College’s men’s basketball team will try to stop the bleeding tonight.

The highly touted Tigers have struggled out of the gate with back-to-back losses to KCAC teams Bethel and Kansas Wesleyan, both of the games being very close.

Central will try to achieve that first win here tonight as one of the KCAC’s top teams invades Alexander Arena as Friends hooks up with the Tigers at 7:30 p.m.

The Tigers are still playing without standout Alonzo Stafford, who has been awaiting a rule from the NAIA whether or not he’ll receive an extra year of eligibility.

Friends is expected to contend for the KCAC championship as it has several top players back from last year.
