LINDSBORG — It’s been a struggle at start of the season for the Bethany College men’s basketball team.

The Swedes fell 71-68 at Hahn Gym on Friday to Johnson and Wales. They are now 2-2 on the year, but so far there’s been no Cody Harris as the All-American candidate isn’t expected to play until conference plays begins later this month.

Khalid Washington led the Swedes with 20 points. Jalen Thompson chipped in with 12.

The Swedes play Monday at Doane.
