McPherson College’s women’s basketball team obviously has a short memory.
The Bulldogs put Friday’s debacle against Haskell totally out of their minds on Saturday as they rebounded nicely with a 66-56 victory over Bacone College in the second day of the McPherson College Classic at the Sport Center.
Mac dominated the middle two quarters with a 41-28 advantage.
Freshman Cami Richardson, from Hesston, had a breakout game for the Bulldogs as she became more assertive with double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Kristina Battle chipped in with 12 points. Brooklyn Coe just missed double figures with 9 points, while Danielle Holt provided a spark off the bench by grabbing nine rebounds.
The Bulldogs head across town on Wednesday to take on city rival Central Christian College. Game time at Alexander Arena is 6 p.m.
