MOORE, Okla. — With only seven players available, Central Christian College’s women’s basketball team is going to be plagued by a lack of depth.

The Tigers fell to deep Mid-America Christian on Monday, falling behind 25-2 before losing a 91-38 verdict.

Piper Kalthoff led Central with 18 points as the Tigers are now 1-3 on the year heading into Wednesday’s home game against crosstown rival McPherson College. Four Tigers came up with six rebounds each.

CCC was just 13 of 67 from the floor, 5 of 30 from 3-point.

Wednesday’s game with Mac has a 6 p.m. starting time at Alexander Arena.

Central (38) — Kalthoff 18, Grimaldo 3, Banks 9, Hearns 3, Glessner 5.

Mid-America Christian (91) — Lamb 9, Rodriguez 23, Flores 9, Smith 6, Powell 6, Kallead 3, Alley 10, Denton 11, Thompson 4, Fairley 2, Brown 8.
