McPherson College’s volleyball team can accomplish two goals tonight.

A victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan would be its first in the KCAC Postseason Tournament in a long time. And it would give the Bulldogs the school record for victories in a season.

The Bulldogs and Eagles meet up at 7 p.m. in Bartlesville.

It’s been a magical year under first-year head coach Jessica Cleveland. She inherited a team that was 2-18 in the KCAC last year and 7-25 overall coached it up to 13-9 and 20-11. Two other times in Mac history the Bulldogs have won 20 matches.

The Bulldogs lost a grueling five-setter to the Eagles in the first meeting and Wesleyan then completed the sweep with a victory in Bartlesville. The Eagles were 14-8 in the KCAC to earn the No. 4 seed and were 19-10 overall..

Should the Bulldogs win, they most likely would play Ottawa in the second round. The Braves were the KCAC champion with a spotless 22-0 conference record.

In other matches tonight, Bethany is at Ottawa, Friends goes to Kansas Wesleyan and Saint Mary travels to Tabor.
