Membership fees are going up at McPherson’s Turkey Creek golf course. Rates are being raised by $25 on memberships across the board effective for 2017.

Fees for cart rentals are also going up by just a couple of dollars. Punch card rates for the range are going up $10, and punch card rates for carts are going up $25.

A five percent early bird discount is still available for memberships purchased by February 1 for the 2017 year.

Turkey Creek saw a slump in revenues this past year with weather events that kept golfers away while also requiring more repairs for damages caused by high rains. The city transferred $25,000 to the golf course in September to keep it afloat, and in October the golf course changed its hours to help keep costs down.

Turkey Creek golf course is open seven days a week from 8 am until sunset, except on Mondays when it opens at noon.
