Mac's Diamond on women's first team

Heather Diamond was McPherson College’s representative on the All-KCAC Women’s Soccer First Team, while she was joined by Bethany College’s Sarah Henderson and Jovana Canales.

Canales also was named KCAC Goalie of the Year.

Ottawa's Caroline Jenkins and Kansas Wesleyan's Cynthia Chavez shared the Most Valuable Player honor, with Chavez also earning Offensive Player of the Year. Ottawa's Naysla Munoz is the Defensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year was awarded to Jen Rogers of Kansas Wesleyan.

Tabor's Dakota Spencer was named Freshman of the Year and Ottawa’s Marc Gordon was selected Coach of the Year.

Mac’s Cydney Lewis, Astrid Alvarez and Sheryl Evans made the second team as did Bethany’s Brooklyn Meinke.

The Swedes’ Alyssa McBride, Shannon Markey, Kylie Young and Francesca Duckworth were honorable mention picks as was Mac’s Emma Van Doselaar.
