McPherson College’s women’s basketball team will be home on Saturday for its final game before beginning KCAC play next week.
The Bulldogs, 3-1 on the year, host the St. Gregory’s Cavaliers at 5 p.m. in a women’s-only game at the Sport Center.
The Bulldogs are coming off an 84-51 victory over Central Christian College on Wednesday as freshman Isabella Bacon came off the bench to drain seven 3-pointers for 21 points. Another newcomer, transfer Brooklyn Coe, added 18 points while yet another newcomer, freshman Danielle Holt, yanked down 15 rebounds.
St. Gregory’s was an 83-67 winner over Paul Quinn University in its most recent game. The Cavaliers also own a 72-69 win over Randall University, a team the Bulldogs defeated 59-52. St. Gregory’s has played a KCAC school, losing 105-47 to Southwestern.
Mac opens KCAC play on Thursday hosting Bethany College.
