McPherson College’s volleyball team is in the Final Four.

The Bulldogs head up to Ottawa on Saturday to determine the KCAC Postseason Tournament champion.

The Bulldogs, under first-year coach Jessica Cleveland, take on KCAC regular-season champion Ottawa in the semifinals. Mac finished the KCAC portion of its schedule with a 13-9 record, while the Braves ran the table by going 22-0.

The Bulldogs upset No. 4 seed Oklahoma Wesleyan in the semifinals in Bartlesville, Okla. Ottawa advanced by defeating Bethany.

When the Bulldogs and Braves played at the Sport Center, Mac had a 2-1 lead in sets and was up 21-18 in the fourth set, only to see the Braves roar back.

Ottawa is assured of moving on to nationals by virtue of winning the regular season. The KCAC gets two automatic berths.

Mac broke its school record for victories as it’s 21-11 overall. If the Bulldogs pull off the shocker, they would play at 7 p.m. for the championship against the winner of Kansas Wesleyan and Tabor.
