Area players make CKL volleyball team

Class 3A state volleyball runner-up Hesston placed two players on the Central Kansas League first team as selections were announced today.

Kailey Jo Ince and Alaina Dunlavy, who made the 3A All-Tournament Team, were joined on the CKL first team by Smoky Valley’s Kate Deterding.

Smoky Valley’s Haley Peterson and Rilee Carson made the second team along with Hesston’s Mia Loganbill.

Cameron Denno and Kennedy Teach of Hesston were picked honorable mention, as was Smoky Valley’s Delaney Johnson.
