STILLWATER — What a start for Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball team under new coach and McPherson native Brad Underwood.
The Cowboys won their third straight game on Wednesday with a 117-72 rout of New Orleans University.
It’s also the third straight game the Cowboys have scored at least 100 points, which ties the school record. The Cowboys broke the school record on Wednesday for most points in a half as they rang up 68.
Oklahoma State will get a true measure of just how good it is on Monday when it plays UConn in the Maui Invitational in Hawaii. McPherson fans can catch the game at 8 p.m. our time on ESPNU. If the Cowboys pull off the upset of the Huskies, they most likely would play North Carolina on Tuesday, with another game to be played on Wednesday against Tennessee, Wisconsin, Georgetown or Oregon.
