DENVER — Central Christian College’s men’s soccer season ended with a thud on Thursday as the Tigers were defeated 6-0 by Oklahoma Baptist in the NCCAA Regional. The Bison are an NCAA Division II team.

The game was played in the snow and OBU jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead. Then came a flurry of goals to decide the game.

Still, it was a winning season for CCC as it closed with a 9-8-2 record.

“Good effort during the season though,” said CCC coach Aaron Hoxie, who must replace 10 seniors. “These kids really battled hard, especially the latter part of the season, and overcame several injuries. We finished the season with 9 wins, more than the past three seasons, so we are continually improving from class to class."
