BOLIVAR, Mo. — Central Christian College’s women’s basketball team absorbed a 79-34 loss at the hands of NCAA Division II Southwest Baptist University on Friday.

The Bearcats took control of the game from the outset for a 22-5 lead and never looked back.

Kelsey Grimaldo led the Tigers with 12 points. Since it’s considered an exhibition game, the loss does not count toward CCC’s record as it remains at 3-5.

Only one Southwest member played half the game. Hesston High product Caylee Richardson scored 7 points and dished out 3 assists in just 10 minutes.

Central is home for a 5:30 p.m. game on Tuesday with Barclay.

CCC (34) — Grimaldo 12, Kalthof 8, Glessner 4, Rhoton 4, Banks 3, Floyd 2, Hearne 1.
