McPherson’s school superintendent Mark Crawford resigned his position last Thursday.
This morning, McPherson’s Mayor Tom Brown acknowledged the resignation and made a few remarks at the weekly city commission meeting.
“This is an important position in our community,” said Mayor Brown. “We will look to support Gordon Mohn in the interim all we can, and go forward with what needs to be done.”
Mark Crawford’s resignation was effective November 17. Gordon Mohn is the school’s director of operations and is serving as USD 418’s superintendent until a replacement is found. The search will begin in January.
