Jr. Eagles defeated by Little River

ELYRIA — Elyria Christian Junior High’s A-team lost for the first time as Little River’s stifling defense led it to a 28-12 success on Monday.

Josef Hobson led the Eagles with 8 points.

“We fought hard, but couldn't get our offensive game to come together,” Elyria coach Shawn Stucky said.

Little River also won the B-game, 22-16. Ben Unruh topped Elyria with 10 points, making 5 of 7 from the field.
