Many shoppers are looking for a great bargain in December, so with hardback books on sale for id="mce_marker".00, and paperbacks going for 50 cents, the McPherson Public Library’s used book sale is one event that can’t be missed. This book sale is unique in that the library is offering a large assortment of children and teen fiction and non-fiction, and all are in good condition. Many adult titles will be available as well.

“There has never been a better time to stock up on some amazing titles from the library's book sale, since this year we will have an unprecedented number of children and teen books,” says Jennifer McCulley, Youth Services Coordinator.  “The shelves in our youth collections were overflowing. While it may be sad to see these great books go, it means that we now have space for many new titles. And, we can pass the books along to the public for their home libraries.”

The sale will begin when the library opens at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9, and run during open hours throughout the weekend. It is first come first serve so arrive early to get the best selection.
