Central Christian College’s men’s basketball team will attempt to extend its winning streak to seven games on Thursday when it hosts Manhattan Christian College to complete this season’s home-and-home series.

The Tigers outlasted the Thunder 83-76 last month as Manhattan Christian has one of its best teams in recent years.

Central is 7-3 on the season. It has an exhibition game on Saturday at Oklahoma Christian University.

The Central women, who have shoehorned 15 games into a little more than a month, play their final contest before taking a month-long break. The Tigers edged Manhattan Christian 77-73 last month in Manhattan.

A victory would level the Tigers’ record at 6-6. They also have played four exhibition games that didn’t count toward the record.

Central won’t play again until Jan. 10 when it hosts Bethany College.

The women play Manhattan Christian at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s game to follow.
