Capital-Journal tabs Reifschneider 1st team

McPherson High’s Jack Reifschneider received another first-team All-State football honor when The Topeka Capital-Journal recently named him first-team wide receiver for Class 4A Division I.

Five Bullpups earned honorable mention — linemen Jared Ruth and Wyatt Seidl, quarterback Casen Hoover, defensive back Drew Labertew and linebacker Jayse Alexander.

Three Smoky Valley Vikings earned honorable mention for Class 4A Division II  — lineman Beck Elliott, running back Kyle Anderson and linebacker Riley Odell.

In Class 3A, Hesston’s Zach Esau was first-team defensive back. Honorable mention for the Swathers were receivers Zach Vogt and Cameron Cox, lineman Jake Wingfield, running back Parker Roth and linebacker Zach Anderson.

Inman had three players make 2-1A honorable mention — receiver Lucas Barlow, lineman Ethan DeWitt and kicker Taiten Winkel. 

Moundridge kicker Anthony Otte also was 2-1A honorable mention.
