McPherson College’s basketball teams are headed in opposite directions tonight to play their final game before Christmas.
The Mac women go South to Bethany, Okla., to take on Southwestern Christian University, with tip time 6 p.m.
Mac is 7-6 overall, but has lost its last four games. The Bulldogs closed 2016 KCAC play with a 3-5 record. Southwestern Christian is 7-4 on the year and owns wins over some KCAC teams.
The Mac men head North to Lawrence in an attempt to break a six-game losing streak as they take on Haskell. The Bulldogs are trying to complete the season sweep, as they won the first meeting on a last-second shot by Thomas Butler.
The Bulldogs are 6-8 overall, but just 1-7 in the KCAC as they have lost several close games. Haskell is a hard-luck 1-12 as its only win is against Ottawa of the KCAC and has lost four games by two points or one point.
Mac and Haskell tip off at 7:00.
There is no radio broadcast for either game tonight.
