According to Wayne Burns, Director of Public Lands and Facilities, individuals can make 2016 tax-deductible contributions to the McPherson Parks and Public Facilities Foundation through December 31. Donations will be accepted for specific parks, public facilities and amenities within the parks.
“The McPherson Parks and Public Facilities Foundation is a funding source for our city to make McPherson a wonderful place to play, learn and explore,” said Burns. “Our parks and facilities are a peaceful retreat from the pace and pressures of everyday life. They bring us family picnics, evening swim parties, community celebrations, movies, long walks and wildlife beauty.”
The McPherson Parks and Public Facilities Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving, growing and enhancing McPherson’s city parks and public facilities amenities.
