Swede women end 2016 with a victory

LINDSBORG — 2016 ended on a good note for Bethany College’s women’s basketball team on Thursday with a 69-40 non-conference domination of Grace University.

Tehya Peters topped the Swedes with 21 points as they dominated the game for the most part. Kimi Lindshield furnished 11 points and pulled down 8 rebounds.

The victory improved Bethany to 3-10 on the season. The Swedes are now idle until Jan. 5 when they host Tabor in KCAC action.
