Central Christian College’s men’s basketball team is in action today and Wednesday in the bright lights of Las Vegas.
The Tigers are taking part in the Las Vegas Tournament.
They play at 4:00 today against the University of Northwestern Ohio, then go up against Dakota Wesleyan University at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Northwestern Ohio will provide a formidable challenge as it’s 10-3 on the season and ranked 25th in the country. Dakota Wesleyan also will be a top opponent as it’s 11-3 and ranked No. 12.
Central is 8-3 on the year. Following this weekend, the Tigers get some time off as they don’t play again until Jan. 2 when they travel to Bethany College. The teams met earlier this year at Alexander Arena with the Tigers winning, 85-81. Bethany is a game back of Tabor in the KCAC standings.
