Two McPherson College student-athletes have been honored for their work in the classroom.

Soccer player Sheryl Evans and football player Michael Rabara have been named to the College Division Academic All-District 3TM Teams as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Evans allowed just 14 goals and posted eight shutouts in 2016, ranking second on Mac’s single-season list for shutouts. She completed her career as a Bulldog ranked second on the program's career list in goals-against average (1.283) and third in saves (162), shutouts (12) and save percentage (.790).

Rabara was the third-leading defender for the Mac football team with 90 tackles, including 42 solo stops, six tackles for loss, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
