LEAVENWORTH — Saint Mary senior superstar Grant Greenberg is now the all-time leading men’s college basketball scorer in Kansas history.

Greenberg, a three-time All-American for the Spires, broke Danny Manning’s record of 2,951 points that he scored for the Kansas Jayhawks during his four-year career. Greenberg scored 49 points on Saturday in a 104-103 double-overtime victory over Southwestern and now has 2,993.

The overall Kansas record is by former KU women’s star Lynette Woodard, whose mark of 3,649 has stood the test of time.
