Big 4th quarter boosts Inman's boys

BURRTON — Inman’s boys outscored Little River 17-4 in the final quarter to pull away to a 48-34 victory Monday in the first round of the Burrton Invitational.

Little River had come out smoking in the first quarter for a 14-8 lead, but the Teutons found their footing to go up 23-22 at the half.

It was still a one-point game going into the fourth quarter, but the Teutons clamped down defensively.

Lucas Barlow had a career-high 25 points to lead the Teutons while Payton Froese scored 11. 

Jace Garrison scored 12 points to lead Little River and Clay Zeller added 10.

Inman will take on No. 1 seed Berean Academy at 8 p.m. Thursday, while Little River plays Pretty Prairie in the first game at 3:00.
