McPherson College’s basketball teams will be trying to avenge losses to Sterling when the teams meet Saturday in the Warriors’ Gleason Center.

Game time is 5 p.m. for the women and 7 p.m. for the men.

The Mac women were defeated 61-45 by the Warriors earlier this season. Mac is coming off a 72-68 overtime victory over Bethel on Wednesday, with Brooklyn Coe scoring 18 points to lead the Bulldogs, while Victoria Gonzalez and Cami Richardson added 15 apiece, with Richardson also pulling down 10 rebounds

Mac is 7-8 in the KCAC, so it needs a win to get back to .500, while it is 12-11 overall. Sterling is 7-7 in the KCAC as it has played one less conference game and 13-9 overall.

The Mac men lost 88-78 to Sterling the first time around, but they are 3-1 so far during the second half of conference play and have moved to 10-13 overall. Mac is 4-11 in the KCAC, a half-game behind 4-10 Sterling, which still has a makeup game to play. The Warriors are 7-15 overall.

There will be no radio broadcast due to coverage of the Mid America Classic.
