ELYRIA — Elyria Christian School’s boys A-team continued its excellent play on Thursday with a 41-16 victory over Wakefield.

“The guys executed both our offense and defense well tonight,” ECJH coach Shawn Stucky said. “Learning patience on offense has been tough for them, but they were able to move the ball well to get good open shots. We are looking forward to a rematch with Little River on Monday before heading into the Wheat State League tournament next Thursday.”

Josef Hobson’s 16 points topped the Eagles and Zach Stucky furnished 11.

The B-team outlasted Wakefield 31-28 as Ben Unruh’s 10 points were tops.
