LITTLE RIVER — Elyria Christian Junior High’s A-boys ran into hot-shooting Little River on Monday, losing a 50-22 verdict.

“We came out with a strong start (down only 16-10 after a quarter), but couldn't keep up with their outside shooting game,” Junior Eagles coach Shawn Stucky said. “Little River is quick and strong both offensively and defensively. We weren't able to find a good rhythm tonight, but the guys worked hard, with the starting five playing the entire game.”

Seth Redenbaugh led the Eagles with 10 points.

Little River also won the B-team, 27-17. Grant Peters led Elyria with 6 points.

Elyria A (22) — Seth Redenbaugh 10, Hobson 6, Anderson 2, Unruh 2, Stucky 2.

Elyria B (17) — Huddle 4, Anderson 5, Peters 6, Silas Redenbaugh 2.
