The two tournament weeks are over and there’s been some shuffling in the KBCA state basketball rankings.

McPherson High’s girls remain No. 3 in Class 4A Division I, as Bishop Miege regained the top spot after winning the Newton Invitational. Kansas City Piper fell to No. 2.

Baldwin is No. 4, followed by Circle, Rose Hill, Labette County, Paola, Independence and Wellington.

The MHS boys are No. 8. Miege is on top and also ahead of the Bullpups are Ottawa, Kansas City Piper, Eudora, Basehor-Linwood, Wamego and Abilene. Hays is No. 9, followed by Buhler — both of those teams being in MHS’ sub-state in March.

Hesston’s boys remain No. 1 in Class 3A. Moundridge’s girls are No. 8 in Class 2A, with Central Plains still on top.
