Unless the Central Christian College men’s basketball team gets lost on its way to Arkansas, the Tigers are expected to win their 11th game in a row on Saturday.
Central makes the long trip for a rematch with Crowley’s Ridge College, with game time 3 p.m. The Tigers lambasted the Arkansas team 121-72 on Jan. 12.
This is the last of five straight road games for Central, which finally returns home on Tuesday to take on Union College of Nebraska.
Central is 18-5 and has climbed to No. 5 in the NCCAA poll.
As much as the Tiger men are expected to roll, the Tiger women will have their hands full as they attempt to reach double digits in victories in the 1 p.m. game.
Central was a 69-67 winner in the first meeting. The Tigers take a 9-11 record into the contest.
The Tigers stay on the road Tuesday to play at Bacone College, then go to College of the Ozarks on Wednesday as they are in the midst of an eight-game road trip that doesn’t end until Feb. 16 when Haskell comes to town.
