Central women lose to Bacone

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Central Christian College’s women’s basketball team dropped a 71-57 verdict to Bacone College on Tuesday and it continues its exhaustive road trip by playing tonight in Joplin, Mo., against 10th-ranked College of the Ozarks.

Central waited too long to get going as it scored 26 points in the final period, but it was too little, too late.

Abbie Banks scored 21 points to lead CCC. Rebekah Glessner added 10.

Central (57) — Banks 21, Glessner 10, Gonzalez 7, Grimaldo 7, Hearne 5, Floyd 4, Redenbaugh 3.

Bacone (71) — Barry-Wallace 11, Baker 6, Miles 22, Scott 2, Richey 5, Nichols 2, Zimmerer 3, Scarberry 7, Tidwell-McClure 2, Tims 2, Basks 5, Fulmore 2, Traylor 2.
