A reminder for McPherson College basketball fans, today’s games with York have an earlier starting time than normal since the Panthers are making the long trip from Nebraska.

The women’s game starts at 3 p.m. at the Sport Center. This is a chance for the Bulldogs to gain ground in the KCAC race as the Panthers are just 1-18 in the conference while Mac is 7-12, one game back of Oklahoma Wesleyan for the eighth and final playoff spot.

The men’s game is at 5. The Panthers are the second-best team in the KCAC at 14-5, two games back of Tabor. The Bulldogs, who are 5-3 in the KCAC during the second half, need to win to have any chance of making the playoffs. A loss and they are eliminated. They are 6-13 in conference play, 12-15 overall and coming off an upset of third-place Saint Mary.

The first time the teams met, York won a track meet 115-103.
