When McPherson High’s girls and Circle meet tonight in Towanda, it will be a matchup of Top 4 teams in Class 4A Division I.

The Bullpups are No. 3 and Circle is No. 4, according to the rankings that came out on Monday afternoon.

Kansas City Piper and Bishop Miege remain Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.

MHS’ boys are still No. 7 this week. Ahead of the Bullpups are Bishop Miege, Eudora, Kansas City Piper, Ottawa, Wamego and Basehor-Linwood. Right behind MHS at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively, are Hays and Buhler — which could very well meet in the first round of sub-state next week.

Hesston’s boys have a stranglehold on the top spot in Class 3A, while the Hesston girls are No. 6.

Moundridge’s girls are No. 7 in Class 2A.
