There was one upset Saturday night in the KCAC Postseason Basketball Tournaments.

Regular-season men’s champion Tabor was stunned at home 93-88 by Southwestern, which advanced to Monday night’s finals where it will play York College for the championship.

York raced past Ottawa 99-78 in the other semifinal.

Tabor, however, already has qualified for the national tournament by winning the regular season. The other qualifier is the York-Southwestern winner.

The women’s title game is nothing more than a formality. Friends, the regular-season champion, rallied past Kansas Wesleyan 80-73 on Saturday and will face Tabor on Monday. The Bluejays blew out Saint Mary, 80-62.

Both Friends and Tabor automatically advance no matter the outcome since they also finished 1-2 in the regular season.

The men’s game starts at 6 p.m. Monday at Hartman Arena in Park City, while the women play at 8.
