NORTH NEWTON — Central Christian College’s softball team is still looking for that elusive first victory of the season.

Bethel dealt CCC 4-1 and 10-1 losses on Wednesday.

The Tigers simply couldn’t get the bats going in either game. They had five hits in the opener, two by Mariah Grijalva.

Central was held to three hits in Game 2, but had one loud one as Cheyenne Bouis homered.

Central is back in action today in the McPherson College Invitational, which has been moved up to today and Friday due to impending bad weather on Saturday. The Tigers are playing Friends and Bethany today at 2:00 and 4:00, respectively, at Wall Park.
