Eagle honors Robertson, Pyle

McPherson High’s Taylor Robertson has been named All-State All-Class first team by The Wichita Eagle, according to the newspaper’s website.

Robertson averaged 24 points a game in helping the Bullpups to a second-place state finish.

Other first-team picks were Kennedy Brown of Derby, Hunter Bentley of Miege, Christianna Carr of Manhattan and Sereena Weledji of Aquinas.

MHS’ Ben Pyle was picked All-State All-Class second team. Those on the first team were Mitchell Ballock of Eudora, Darien Jackson of Blue Valley Northwest, Matt Pile of Goddard Eisenhower, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl of Miege and Conner VanCleave of Holcomb.
