KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Central Christian College’s Michael Gholston wound up in third place in the NAIA 3-point shooting contest on Saturday at Municipal Auditorium.

Gholston was tied for second after the first round, but lost in a shootout to the eventual champion. There were four competitors chosen from around the country for this exclusive shootout. Gholston had entered the event having made the most 3-pointers of those involved.

Gholston, a senior from Houston, finished his career as Central’s all-time leading scorer.
