Hutch Zoo Completes First Stage Of Remodels

The Hutchinson Zoo has completed it first phase of remodeling. The reptile house has been opened to the public featuring larger tanks that can house more species. Other exhibits include a poison dart frog exhibit and soon to come a bamboo shark. 

Mission Statement: The Hutchinson Zoo strives to serve as a quality recreational and animal rehabilitation facility, while inspiring community involvement and furthering conservation education on behalf of wildlife.

About Us: This year marks the 30th anniversary of The Hutchinson Zoo! Located in Carey Park, the Zoo’s collection includes over 150 animals. Many of which are species native to the Central Plains of the United States. Additionally, the Zoo’s Cargill Wild Care Center and wildlife rehabilitation program annually treats approximately 500 animals!
