MAUMELLE, Ark. — Central Christian College’s golf team moved up one spot in Tuesday’s final round of the Central Baptist College Invitational.
The Tigers had started the day in sixth place, but wound up taking fifth.
Colton Person continued his fine play as he shot his second straight 75 for a 150 total to take 9th place. He was one shot and one place ahead of teammate Collin Duckworth, who had rounds of 76-75-151.
Central Baptist’s Austin Harmon took medalist honors with a 70-71-141.
Other Central totals were JP Ray (81-85-166), Matt Rettinger (92-80-172) and Lowell Stephens (93-80-173).
Central had two women enter as individuals. Kari Kirl tied for 4th after rounds of 93-93-186. Haley Smith was 5th with 89-99-188.
Mariah Farden of Missouri Valley was medalist with 84-82-166.
