McPherson High’s 2017 baseball team will be tested by some of the greatest players in Bullpup history Saturday as MHS will be hosting an Alumni Game at Grant Complex.

It’s a day full of fun activity.

Both teams will have batting practice, then at 12:45 is fun time for any kids who want to use the batting cages, hit some wiffle balls or play catch on the field.

All youth baseball players who wear a McPherson camp T-shirt (having taken part in the MHS Boot Camp or One-Pitch Warrior) will get a free round of batting practice.

There will be concessions provided by the MHS baseball parents as well as a raffle and MHS baseball wear will be for sale.

Pre-game introductions are scheduled for 1:45 p.m., with first pitch at 2:00.

Third-year Bullpup coach Heath Gerstner is excited that so many alumni have agreed to take part. Brad Tajchman will be the oldest participant as he graduated in 1987, while Scott LaDuke last played in 1989.
