The postseason basketball honors continue to pour in for Central Christian College senior Michael Gholston.

Gholston on Wednesday was named an NAIA honorable mention All-American.

A 6-5 guard from Houston who finished as the school’s all-time leading scorer, Gholston earlier was named first-team AII Conference and second-team NCCAA All-Region.

Gholston scored 1,917 points in his career, surpassing Chris Jones as the school’s all-time leading scorer during the season. He also leaves CCC as the top 3-point shooter in school history by making 369. He competed in the NAIA national 3-point contest earlier this month, finishing in third place.

Gholston is the fourth Tiger to earn NAIA All-American honors, the others being Sean High, Don Gavin and Jones.
