The Messiah Festival partners with the Lindsborg Landmark Concert series as it opens its second season with the Lindsborg Jazz Walk.
The Jazz Walk takes place Friday, April 7, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in historic downtown Lindsborg and will feature celebrated Kansas City percussionists and Bethany graduate, Brandon Draper.
The walk will begin in the evening and feature different styles of jazz at different locations on Main Street.
From blues to world music, the audience will be treated to a wide variety of styles of jazz that complement the unique locations throughout the walk.
Draper will bring widely acclaimed and talented friends to help create the unique experiences to each location.
The schedule is as follows:
Chestnut Studios 7:00-9:00 p.m. Listening Lounge and Merchandise;
Connected 7:00-7:30 p.m. Kids Congo Square + Drum Safari;
Swedish Crown/Vasa 7:30-8:30 p.m. New Orleans to New York Jazz;
Blacksmith Coffee Shop and Roastery 7:45-8:45 p.m. West Coast Jazz Duo;
Ol Stuga 7:45-8:45 p.m. Memphis to Kansas City Jazz;
Downtown New Orleans Street Parade 8:45-9:00 p.m. Main Street;
The Brandon Draper Group 9:00-10:00 p.m. parking lot on the 100 block of S. Main Street.
