Mac women netters dominate Friends

McPherson College’s women’s tennis team kept pace with the Bulldog men by shutting out Friends 9-0 here Saturday.

The No. 21-ranked Bulldogs have a huge showdown here today against top KCAC challenger Bethel, which also is 3-0 in the KCAC. The winner will take command of the conference race. Match time is 3 p.m.

Amazingly, Mac lost only one game total in the six singles matches, winning five of the matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

Mac also goes to Tabor Thursday and Bethany on Saturday.
