Elyria Christian hosts T & F meet

HILLSBORO — Elyria Christian School hosted a track and field meet Tuesday at Hillsboro, with the boys taking fourth and the girls placing fifth.

Halstead won the boys division, with Herington winning on the girls’ side.

Jaden Starburg won the lone gold for the Elyria boys by taking first in the triple jump.

Elyria’s girls won a pair of golds. Abbey Rush won the javelin, while the 4 x 100 relay team of Claire Adamyk, Misha Redenbaugh, Shelby Bontrager and Brekken Anderson triumphed.
