April 18, Deadline To Register For Rural Opportunities Conference

The deadline to register for the Rural Opportunities Conference is Tuesday, Apr. 18. The Kansas Department of Commerce will host the conference from April 25-26 in Junction City, Kansas. The Rural Opportunities Conference will highlight rural business and community development topics. Sessions will include:

· Energizing Civic Engagement Through Leadership

· Strategic Planning – Not How, Why?

· Agriculture, New Market Opportunities

· The Next Generation of Rural Kansans: Succession Planning

· Addressing Rural Poverty
