LAWRENCE — As expected, Kansas freshman Josh Jackson has announced that he’s one-and-done as he’s heading to the NBA.

Jackson made the announcement today in a news release to The Associated Press. He has signed with an agent, meaning there’s no turning back.

"I am very thankful for all of the support I have received from my coaches and teammates at Kansas,” the statement read.

The loss of Jackson means KU coach Bill Self has an extra scholarship to use for the 2017 class.
