LINDSBORG — McPherson High’s JV tennis team competed in its second meet in as many days, taking third place Tuesday in the Smoky Valley JV Invitational.
Both singles players, Zach Wash and Clayton Everhart, were third at No. 1 and 2 singles, respectively.
In doubles, Jackson Fox and Tyler Burns were third at No. 2, while Logan Hardgrave and Kade Goss were fourth at No. 1.
Buhler won the team title, with Smoky Valley and McPherson High right behind.
“Comparing to yesterday, our aggressiveness in doubles improved,” MHS coach Noah Lindfors said. “I feel that some of our strategies and methods may be beginning to click with some of our players. Overall, I am pleased with today's effort and attitude.”
