It showed why Tuesday.
The Wildcats had their hitting shoes on against Hesston for 25-8 and 15-8 victories.
The Swathers, though, showed offensive improvement. In Game 1, they pounded out 10 hits, including three by Emma Shirley and two apiece by Kailey Jo Ince and Rylie Schilling. Haven had innings of nine and eight runs to key its victory.
In Game 2, the Swathers had a five-run inning, but Haven countered with a seven-run frame.
