Mac women netters blank Ottawa

OTTAWA — McPherson College’s 23rd-ranked women’s tennis team stayed undefeated in the KCAC on Wednesday by blanking Ottawa, 9-0.

The victory also assures the Bulldogs of qualifying for the KCAC postseason tournament. They are 6-0 in the conference and 6-2 overall.

Ottawa was missing two players as it forfeited at No. 5 and 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.

The Bulldogs can clinch no worse than a tie for the KCAC title today when Kansas Wesleyan comes to McPherson for a dual match.
